This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Exalted... is it worth it?

But more seriously, its generally better to assume an invisible IMO on internet  post without some reason to think otherwise. It can be very hard to do in the heat of the moment or about something one is passionate about.

Pish posh!

I speak ex cathedra for the nouveau OSR Intifada, paladins & princesses editions. Lalalalalalalala!

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

Skywalker

Quote from: Nexus;941852That's what allot of people have been saying. Its enough to make me regret having so many issues with the base system since it does seem to be one of the better adaptations.

The base system in Godbound is such a light touch, you might be able to get past any issue with it with little effort.

My issues with the system are unfortunately pretty fundamental along with some conceptual differences on how I think Exalted and Creation should function.

Yeah, it might become better if you try adding the powers system to a basy system you like. I've been thinking of doing that, myself:).

Also, to the post you removed, but Opaopajr has quoted: yes, including me;)!

I didn't remove it.

Clicking on the "go back to the post" returned me to a page that said "not a valid post", though. Though, weirdly, it seems you haven't removed it, indeed.

My answers still stand, though.
