It's safe to say I am a fan of Allston's. I know Strike Force is held in pretty wide regard and I would love to read it myself but prices for a used copy are beyond stupid.

I don't own any Hero or Champions products (except the Interlock one, new Millenium?) so it's nice that they're aiming for multiple systems.

As long as it's the real deal I will want this.  Been looking for an affordable copy for ages. Yet to find one.  Aftermarket prices are ridiculously high.

As to whether it's the "real deal"...well, it's nice that they are doing it for the sake of his legacy. But unless he had a bunch of nicely organised notes all ready to be cleaned up and published, not really sure of the added value of this compared to the original version.

Alan Varney said Alston told him he had enough Strike Force material to fill 8-10 volumes.

While I have little interest in the system, it should still be interesting to peek at the finished product.

Other than the aforementioned point that prices for an original are beyond stupid. ;)
