This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

A Public Apology to Kevin Siembieda

If it weren't for Palladium Fantasy reminding me about what was cool about gaming, I would probably never have come back to it. That means Kevin has my undying respect for ever and ever.

That said, sometimes companies and game lines die and go out of print. Happens.
Now with a Zine!

Quote from: Zachary The FirstNow take jgants.  He and I differ widely on several topics about Palladium, but we get along pretty darn well. I love his Rifts AP thread--I think it's a great illustration of the kind of great stories you can have with Rifts and how it can really work well.  But he's got his criticisms, and he manages to do it without sounding like he caught Kevin S. boning his mom when he was in the 2nd grade.

Awww, shucks.  Thanks for the kinds words, Zach.  :)

It's too bad I won't be able to make it to the Palladium Open House to actually meet you in person.
Now Prepping: One-shot adventures for Coriolis, RuneQuest (classic), Numenera, 7th Sea 2nd edition, and Adventures in Middle-Earth.

Recently Ended: Palladium Fantasy - Warlords of the Wastelands: A fantasy campaign beginning in the Baalgor Wastelands, where characters emerge from the oppressive kingdom of the giants. Read about it here.

Actually, I won't be able to make it, either.  A mix of work, personal, and financial stuff has seen to that.

Trust me, I know what you mean.  Up until a week ago I had a bunch of extra money and thought - hey, I could burn a couple of vacation days.  Then a personal crisis wiped out all my cash and then some.

It's really too bad you can't go since you were a guest of honor, though.

Well, I hope things look up for you in the near future (and hopefully for me, too, LOL).

And remember, if you should ever find yourself in Iowa for some bizarre reason, stop on by and you'll be a guest of honor in my Rifts game.

Man, for me that would be just as cool.  Here's to better days ahead, gods willing.
