An odd request I know, but I'm looking for a cool sounding word that means either power or strength (or something similar) that begins with the letter D. It could be from some foreign language or completely fictional.
As for the reason. I run a homebrew RPG in which character level is tied to their dice. PCs are almost always d20, and weaker enemies could be anything below that (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d14, d16, d18). And similarly stronger enemies could be anything higher (d22, d24...) As you can see, I've bought quite a few specialty dice.
The problem is that we quite often find ourselves talking about these power levels in-character, and I'm trying to help this matter by including an in-universe explanation for this system. Such as: "In the ancient times heroes of great power measured their strength and power with the 'D levels'." The problem is of course similar to the much more common level systems where characters have numbered levels.
Thanks for any and all help.
EDIT: I'm not looking for an English word, any other language or even fictional gibberish is fine though.
In English, I doubt you'll find one. Try browsing from here: https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/strength?s=t (https://www.thesaurus.com/browse/strength?s=t).
These words may have shadings that aren't quite to your liking, but a few that come to mind:
Durability: Related to endurance, could be said to be the ability to power through things.
Dynamic/Dynamo: "a force that stimulates change or progress within a system or process", a Dynamo also converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
Dominion: To hold power over something.
Oh, I should have clarified. I'm looking for a word in a language other than English. Latin, Hebrew, Sanskrit, German... But not English.
Drauk.
You could go for something like "Destroy", "Destroyer", "Destruction", "Destructive(ness)". Other options "Demolish(er)" or "Demolition". Durfte means "might" in German (but its the wrong sort of might....)
'sturm and Drang!'
Donal is mighty in Irish...
Dominance works well.
According to google translate, "strength" translates to "Dýnami" in Greek. Sounds pretty baller.
Doughty, Deft, Drive, Dauntless, Dynamism, Dominance, Durable.
Thats all I got.

Do You Even Lift?
Drength!
Just make up a word?
If the power is magical in nature, Dweomer, obviously. Or a neologism like Dwimmercræft.
Dong? Dank? Drongo?

Millimetres doesn't count.
As for the original request, some thoughts:
Daimon -- The Greek word for a powerful spirit.
Deus -- Latin for "god". (Try also Divinus.)
Drachen -- German for "dragon".
Dummkopf -- German for "dummyhead" (this one for comic games only, obviously).
Ducas -- Greek version of the Latin dux, the root of the noble title "duke".
That should give you at least something to start with.

Well... in fairness - it's true. 18mm in length. But it's 300mm in circumference.
TAKE IT ALL!

It ain't the size of the D.O.N.G. belt, but the motion in the notion (table whippings) it provides. :D
Ooh, can we do another stat starting with another letter? I vote for 'F'. :p
