This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

A chinese RPG?!

When you get past the Chinglish, it looks kind of neat. And even if you don't, it still sounds pretty nifty:

"fifth
shark man
I'm sorry I don't know how to translate 鲛人。
I use shark man instead.
They can only live in the sea.They are not willing living in dirty waters.The male looks violent and fierce while the female looks gentle and soft."

The Pernicious Light, or The Wreckers of Sword Island;
A Goblin\'s Progress, or Of Cannons and Canons;
An Oration on the Dignity of Tash, or On the Elves and Their Lies

looks neat

esp. love:

third giant
they are high and very strong .
(high and strong?  think of the amount of munchies they could carry!)

I have to  mention you  that the Dwarf's language is too hard to study.
(if a chinese guy says it's too hard to study, that's one tough language!)

seriously tho, i bookmarked it to check out more later :)

Over on RPG.net, James Palmer (aka Jamescat) often discussed his gaming group from when he was living in China.  It was almost exclusively about his Exalted game, but they were mad for the stuff.

!i!

(P.S. The lay of the land and races of "novoland" are rather charming, aren't they?  I wonder when the game will get shut down as promoting a "subversive religion".)

at least it was exalted, not wushu :haw:

I guess it's sort of obvious but http://www.systranbox.com/ says 鲛人 = "merman".

heh, it's either authentic or a bunch of american eighth graders...Well except the guy in the picture isn't a girl with her boobs hanging out...so it's probably the real deal...I'm very much afraid that Hybrid will be the more coherent of the two in the English.

The Chinese hate Wushu.

How do I know?. A little old man in a saffron robe told so me before kicking my arse.
