This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So you're the guy in credit card commercials who holds up the line by stopping to write out a check - is that it ?

Quote from: James J SkachThat's the problem with going to the con with Clash.  Every day, it hit's 4:00 in the afternoon, and he goes nuts looking for dinner in the cafeteria with his senior discount card.

And that's not even bringing in the 3 or 4 "naps" he takes throughout the day...sheesh...

And then it's bed by 9:30 PM so he can get up at 5:00 AM and make enough noise to wake the rest of us and then "apologize" - all so we can stand outside the convention center at 6:00 AM and listen to him complain about how it's silly the doors aren't open yet...

:haw:

Oh man, I know, it's terrible!  He kept interrupting our game to ask if it was time to go to Country Kitchen Buffet for dinner.  Finally, when I told it was 2:00 pm, he shouted, "I'm late!", and took off, leaving us sitting there.

:haw:

(Note:  The above story is patently false.  And for the record, it was Denny's).

I wish I could have made it this year again, Bill. I would have loved to run Neb again, last year's demo was fun.

Assuming I make it next year I'd be happy to donate 2hrs a day to man a Small Press Booth, if you get one going. I'm pretty familiar with Hinterwelt, Flying Mice, PiG and a lot of the other small press guys, so I think I could rep you all pretty well. :D

Liar! It was Bamboo Garden, over in Greenfield. All you can eat Chinese for $10. I even had the change once I searched the seats in Klaxon's car. The meats were so soft I didn't have to put my teeth in, and after I ate all I wanted, I complained about the food in front of all the people coming in so long that they gave me my money back! After that I told Klax some interminable story about my own glorious youth and how the world was better then. Of course I lost the thread half a dozen times, but he knew it from memory and could get me right back on topic - at least I think it was on topic...  Then I remembered I had left my teeth back at the restaurant so we had to go back. I fell asleep then, so Klax had to go in and get my teeth for me. When he got back in the car, I woke up because of the stink - for some reason he was covered in garbage. I gave him what for on the ride home - imagine disrespecting your own father so much as to get in the car stinking to high heaven! I told him what a perfect, faultless child I had been and how rude and inconsiderate he was. I fell asleep somewhere in there. I woke up just before dawn and I had Klaxon help me up and fetch my walker for me. Ah the joys of the elderly! :D

To set this thread back on its legs after having oh so neatly cut them out from under it, I will say I am all for this concept. Sharing a booth with other publishers from this site would sincerely rock, and learning to run their games only a joy.

Yup.  Count me in, for what's it's worth.  Dreamwalker Revised (d20) will be out by then so I'll have that to push and Rick Hershey was planning a re-release of Steampunk Musha.  It would be so much easier if you guys would come to DragonCon, but I don't think it gets quite the same draw.  :)
