This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I would like to invite you all to the One Month Fudge Adventure
Challenge!

THE RULES:

"In one month write a complete adventure for your Fudge game and upload
it to this community's files section by July 11th, 2009.

That's it. I'm not going to dictate anything other than that. You can
write 100 pages worth of setting, stats, and material. You can write one
page that is nothing more than an outline of events and brief
descriptions of characters. I don't care how much you contribute, and I
don't care if it is of professional quality or not.

All I care about is that you have a good time writing an adventure that
you like that uses Fudge as the underlying rules system and that you
share the results with the rest of us." -Patrick Benson

It was announced here:

Additional details here: http://www.sinisterforces.com/?p=71

Its fun, its free, and its fudge!

Thanks!

The above links - not as useful as you might think.

I love Fudge. It's been my go to system for all sorts of homebrew project for  .. well as long as there has been Fudge. My 'Mutant Bikers of the Atomic Wastelands' developed the tiniest of followings on the web back in the day, despite it famously having no rules for mutations or bikes, and even though I took the site down years and years ago, it's all over the place with unofficial mirrors left right and centre. And within my group we still frequently play miniature based Mutant Bikers spin-off (sort of like a Fudge Warhammer Quest) as a filler game.

I guess Fate/Spirit of the Century have taken over from Fudge and deservedly so.   But as a basis to build your own game with your own feel, Fudge is so wonderfully flexible.
New! Cyberblues City - like cyberpunk, only more mellow. Free, fully illustrated roleplaying game based on the Fudge system
Bounty Hunters of the Atomic Wastelands, a post-apocalyptic western game based on Fate. It\'s simple, it\'s free and it\'s in colour!
