This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

You bring a tear to my pink little eye.

So what do you think of the new versions of Axis and Allies?

Eli the Vile

What Version?

Currently me and my friends are playing WOW, the Boardgame, Game of Thrones, and others
I like my women the way I like my coffee, Ground up and in the freezer!

Bolverk

Axis New, Pacific, Europe and D-Day.

Dacke

Haven't played the new version of Axis, but I'm not too fond of the old one.

How can you not like the old one?

But its known you have no tastes so I pose the question again and exclude you from the answer set.

The last five games I picked up were Traders of Genoa, Caylus, RA, Alhambra and uh... Through the Desert.

The first three are first rate, Alhambra and Through the Desert are good enough entertainment, but not nearly as good.

Quote from: EmryysBeen playing lots of Zombies lately...

I know that one well.

But is it really a game if its actually a preperation simulation for the day the dead rise?

BOZ

sure, if you consider flight simulators to be "games" then why not this?  ;)

i bought Zombies at gencon last year as a present for my wife, and we've only played it once.  :(  being busy with baby can put a real crimp in fun time...
don't quote me on that.  :)

Zombies is totally awesome - and definetly on my list of games to buy at some point in the future.

Right now, I generally play a lot of Ingenious, Settlers of Catan (with various expansions), and some other similar games.

Zombies!!! is one of the few games that my fiancee will play.  I just picked up the newest expansion, so she's hankering to play again whenever we get the time.

One can never be too prepared ;)

Reefer Madness

Heehee I love Zombies I have all but the latest expansion....(well the school one)....

Love the game, hell there are a couple pics of me up on the zombies site (from origins).

and from what was said in the newsletter from the Twilight Creatiosn they are going to be releasing a zombies 2.0...which is most upto date rules, 50 female zombies (new)and 50 male(old) and a box that holds all the previous expansions and i think room for 100 extra zombies....

I love the game but cant play it much....
Turning all of our children into hooligans and whores its Reefer Madness.
