This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

regardless, I'm from the U.S. so i've only read/played these years later, but was a huge fan of any of the CYoA-type books as a kid.

Thanks for the link. Interesting clip, albeit I'm not sure the subject can carry an entire documentary on its own.

And it seems that FF got a bit of revival. My wife played through City of Thieves with a Fighting Fantasy app on her iPhone and today Amazon shipped the new Advanced Fighting Fantasy campaign, Crown of Kings, to me - based on the original 4 Sorcery! books. Good ol' days indeed.
Running: Call of Cthulhu
Playing: Mainly boardgames

How does the FF iSeries stack up against similar apps, like Wizards Choice and/or Choice of the Dragons ? Preferably from those that have experience with both of the above mentioned options.

Hardcopy-wise, how does the FF series compare to Lone Wolf?
"People ask the question... what\'s a RocknRolla? And I tell \'em - it\'s not about drums, drugs, and hospital drips, oh no. There\'s more there than that, my friend. We all like a bit of the good life - some the money, some the drugs, others the sex game, the glamour, or the fame. But a RocknRolla, oh, he\'s different. Why? Because a real RocknRolla wants the fucking lot" -Archy (RocknRolla)
