Back in high school I had a starter deck that I spent a lot of time playing with my brother. I remember enjoying it for the DiTerlizzi art more than anything can getting looked down on for it by the people with huge stacks of MtG cards.
Don't think it was ever commercially successful but was it OK as a game? I'm getting tempted to buy myself a big box of cards off Ebay and do some drafting games with friends and am wondering if it's worth shelling out the money for.
Does it hold up at all these days?
It has 5,1 on BBG so..I don't think so.
If you can get a group of 4 players, it's fun. I don't think it works that well with less people.
I have a similar question for the Monty Python CCG.
Ten years ago or whenever the Holy Grail movie was re-released in theaters and I spent a few bucks to see it on the big screen. The theater had a raffle for some Monty Python items and I won a full box of unopened MP CCG packs (one of the few times I've won anything.) They still sit in my closet unopened but I've always wondered how well the game played.
Opinions?

A 5 on BGG is ok. Some like some dont.
Read the comments, reviews and such.
The rules were a little... odd... and the game really shines with more than two players.

Its actually rated lower than Blood Wars. I got a starter free from GenCon and was unimpressed. Never seen the rules so cannot say.
