This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

FO76 and this is not a great game and I really love "canonical" series like FO1 and FO2, but this Fallout is first MMO so it's different and really nice game. But I play only one hour per a day, made some caps and go to sleep

I've watched my stepson play it. It seems OK, but lacking compared to F3, FNV, and F4. I guess that's because some things got sacrificed to allow for multiplayer but then I see very little multiplayer interaction in actual play, so...

I'm considering picking it up after I finish my master's in May. By that time, I'll know if it's going to have any staying power or if it's going to burn out fast among players. This matters to me because it seems inadequate as a single-player Fallout game.

Bawol

I agree, although I do not like Fallout 4 (even worse than 3!)
I like Fallout1, Fallout2 (additions to 2 ie restoration and ressurection) and FO NV.
Fallout 76 still seems like it was a BETA version, the number of possible interactions does not really impress, I still hope that this game will develop and mature.

For anyone who still plays Medieval 2: Total War mods, Europa Barbarorum II v2.35 has just released.

Huge volume of fixes and stability improvements, but more critically a significant amount of new content (including 40 new units). Check out the changelog in the linked thread if you want an idea of what's new.

Full disclosure: I'm a developer on the EBII team, some of this is my work.

I bought X4 the other day.
I paid full price too, which is the first time for a while I've bought a game that wasn't on sale.

Anyway, it's the latest Space trading game made by Egosoft.
Their previous effort, being X Reunion was awful, but this is actually very good.

Doom

Gotta take it easy on the abbreviations, not everyone knows all the acronyms. X4 and M2TW? No idea.

Anyway, just started Mutant Year Zero, surprisingly tough. Granted, I'm somewhat debilitated, but I'm finding "save and reload" to be the only way through even the early missions.

A nice education blog.

M2TW is Medieval 2: Total War. Old game, but a good base for total conversion modifications.

X4 is the name of the game, it's not an abbreviation.
I also described what it actually is, a space trading/combat game.

Warframe on the Switch. I'm really digging it.

I've been getting into Kenshi (https://lofigames.com/) now that it's out of Early Access.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN3BXvRGjBo

Kenshi is a single player sandbox PC game set in a vast and atmospheric 'Sword-Punk' style open world. With a mix of RPG elements, squad-based control and city-building features, gameplay is completely free-roaming and open: enjoy the freedom and potential to do whatever you want.

Set in an unrelenting world of bloodthirsty cannibals, starving bandits, brutal slavers and wild beasts, survival alone is a grueling struggle… You are not the chosen one. You're not great and powerful. You don't have more 'hitpoints' than everyone else. You are not the center of the universe, and you are not special. Unless you work for it.

I figure with a summary like that it's bound to interest someone around these parts. :)

I love fighting games like Tekken 7 on my PS4. Sometimes Fortnite, when friends force me. :D

I started playing Paladins on my Nintendo Switch. I even boiught the character pack. So I get all of the characters unlocked. Because the game sort of sucks when you don't have access to all of them.
