Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). My copy of Breath of the Wild probably won't arrive until Friday, so today I splurged and picked up Super Mario Odyssey. The controls are much more complex than I am used to, but I am really enjoying it so far, though I think I should have bought a second strap for the Switch since it has motion control features.

Just finished playing through Final Fantasy Legends I and II. AKA: the Sa*Ga series on the Gameboy. Even still have the rulebooks! The first game is alot of fun as you can pull off some neat tricks with a human PC. The second one is a little more balanced and my favourite of the three. The addition of the robot race adds some more fun options for group loadout. It also has a slightly more involved story.

Been playing a lot of Witch Hunt on Steam.

18th Century New England, you're a witch hunter looking to help the town of Bellville.  FPS, game takes place in the town (your safe hub - heal, buy shit and upgrades, get rewards) and the woods.

Woods are incredibly atmospheric, creepy as hell.  Minor monsters all over the place, boss fights are ongoing (you're to hunt down the wandering boss and take him or her out).  Your weapons are a pistol, a musket, and a saber.  Both guns are single-shot and take some time to reload.

Takes a lot of inspiration from the movie The Witch - there's a black goat that tends to follow you around, the actual witch looks and sounds like one from the film (and she will thoroughly piss you off).  You'll see some other shout-outs to related media here and there too, they're unobtrusive and fun to find.

It's an inexpensive game produced by one guy, worth the ten bucks.

I've been playing both American Truck Simulator and European Truck Simulator 2. Got them for sale cheap on Steam. Driving a big rig, following traffic rules, and making a delivery really shouldn't be this interesting, but I love it.

The Farm Simulator games always look like they're more fun than they should as well. Any experience playing those?

I picked up the Resident Evil Revelations Collection for Switch last month. And I have been enjoying it.

I also play Warframe :-) I see that Warframe is becoming more and more popular. Very good quality and great performance for a f2p game, but Warframe is a p2w game. To buy new Warframes you need platinum, you need to buy platinum in the game store.
If you keep silent about the platinum aspect, then Warframe is a great game.

I'm trying to finish Skyrim, I'm very surprised. I'm a huge fan of Morrowind, but Oblivion was a bad game, I did not even finish it. Skyrim is great :-)

I'm currently playing a game called Creative Destruction. Some people will call it a Fortnite clone. But I don't think that really does the game justice.

Everything in Creative Destruction is destructable. To fuel your building. There is only one type of material you have to farm. It's done by destroying anything that you come across.

This is a battle royale game. For both phones and PC. So it's stripped down to the bare basics to work on low powered machines.

The big innovation of this game is a feature called the Quick Build. It alllows you set aside a structure you find yourself most commonly using. Like a hollow box with a ramp in it. Which is what it comes set up with my default. You hit the button, and it builds right under you. This makes it so you don't have to fiddle as much with the building controls and going through different shapes and orientations of said building pieces as much in combat. Since the game is fast paced. It can be a lifesaver.

I won my very first ever session I played of Creative Destruction on my Android Phone. And it runs gloriously. It's absolutely optimized for that format.

The PC version. However. Has only mouse and keyboard as the control option. Disappointing to me. Because I very much would prefer using my gamepad/controller. It was disappointing. But not a dealbreaker for me.

Now. The price point. On Android and IPhone it is a free download. On PC, you get access to a full version of the game for $2.99 USD on Steam. There is also a free PC demo.of it if you want to try before you buy.

The gamepass. The equivilent to the Battlepass in Fortnite. It's priced very low. The highest version is a monthly purchase of $5 USD. It unlocks a lot of extras. And there is a lesser version if you don't want to buy a full monthly pass that is cheaper still. This game doesn't price gouge you.

The game is fully playable if you buy the full PC version or if you get the phone version. You don't have to spend anything on things like skins and outfits in the game. There are no pay to win aspects to it. So everybody is playing in the same conditions.

And you do get access to one of the in game currencies by just playing.

I'm not being paid by the company for my recommendation. I just think this is the best and most to the point Battle Royale game I have played to date.

Currently raiding in WoW on Hellscream.

I've dropped the entire BF franchise for obvious reasons (after nearly 17-years of playing.) Dabbling in Warframe (woo!) eyeballing Spiderman for my PS4 for my single-player chillout game.

I started playing Bard's Tale IV. Not impressed. I got the original remasters with the kickstarter, though, so now I'm playing Bard's Tale I.

Edit: And I will most likely be buying Vox Machinae today, for some VR mech fun on my Rift.
