Great game. Tell us more about it!

Playing War of the Chosen for Xcom2 and having a blast. One of the best strategy games I've seen. A pity the presentatn is so bad. The Chosen look like Team Rocket from Pokemon, with silly speeches and poses.

I bought a Nintendo 2DS XL a little over a week ago. I'm playing Pokémon Sun. This is my first Nintendo device since I bought a GameCube over a decade ago. No regrets.

I actually enjoyed the Chosen smacktalk.  They were a more interesting take on boss battles than the alien rulers, too, so that was nice.  It's really a great expansion to an already great game.

I have a 3DS, which is essentially the same as the 2DS, but has the 3d feature (I think the 2DS has a slightly faster CPU) .
I play  games on it a fair bit and it;s a lot of fun for a 30 minute gaming distraction when waiting for or on the move on a train or something. :)

Currently playing some Stunt bike game a lot and an some Zelda games.
Oh , also I really like "Heroes of Ruin" a very nice ARPG, kind of feels a bit like Diablo.

FaerieGodfather

It's been a really long time since I've even attempted to play something other than Crusaders of the Lost Idols and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms.

I have a handful of recent fighter games that I need to break into and I just can't find the motivation.

The 2DS XL is pretty new, and has a similar folding design to the 3DS and according to two 3DS owners, it's very very light. I haven't thought of a second game to get yet, Pokemon Sun keeps me occupied and Ultra Sun is preordered. I'm tempted to find some Mario game, though not sure yet.

I suggest playing Path of Exile. It's the best hack & slash game out there (somewhat RPG too lol)

It's free to play too - there are no microtransactins that have impact on the gameplay too

I bought Transformers Devastation on PC a while ago, and got around to finishing it yesterday.
I mostly liked it for the G1 nostalgia. The gameplay is button mashing beat 'em up, and not very notable. The story is pure G1 and I actually found a lot of inspiration in it for my ever-in-progress Transformers TT RPG.
The game gets pretty ludicrous and repetitive towards the end. Fighting Devastator and Menasor at the same time, button mashing the Transform attack, I felt like combat was a grind.

I'd put it at my #3 favorite Transformers video game, just under War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron. Desptie it's repetitive gameplay, at least it doesn't suck balls like most Transformers video games.
The notion of an exclusionary and hostile RPG community is a fever dream of zealots who view all social dynamics through a narrow keyhole of structural oppression.

I've been playing a lot of Dead by Daylight. Really fun game!
Running:
Dungeon Crawl Classics (influences: Elric vs. Mythos, Darkest Dungeon, Castlevania).
DCC In Space!
Star Wars with homemade ruleset (Roll&Keep type system).

I've been really interested in roguelikes the past couple of weeks. My favorites so far have been Brogue, ToME, Sil and Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. I bought Caves of Qud, but I'm not sure if I enjoy it THAT much. Might need to play it more.

Outside of that, I've also been playing a lot of Baldur's Gate -- I still haven't beaten it and am nearly 50 hours in -- and World of Warcraft. Not so much the latter lately because of the rougelikes interest above.

Krimson

I beat the Elite Four in Pokemon Ultra Sun this morning. I played a lot last night. Nice thing about this one is that there is much more end game content.

Week ago noticed that Dwarf Fortress has gotten new version. DL:d the latest and wow, the dwarves really go and fetch artefacts to the fort when sent to do that. Now to figure out how to get them to read the 'secrets of life and death' to create a necromancer fortress..

Omega

Playing Starbound and occasionally making forays again into Champions Online.
Still havent gotten around to transferring my Minecraft maps over to the new computer.

Doom

Been playing Eternal the Card Game. It's free on Steam, and a total M:TG clone, but uses the computer to generate card effects that you could never do in tabletop play.

Wayyyy too much fun so far.

And if you're looking for a roguelike, check out Dungeons of Dreadmoor, it's good for a few romps.

A nice education blog.
