This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Video Games: What are you playing?

Yooka Laylee is pretty fun if a bit repetitive.

I've also been playing Dawn of War 2, which is very nice. Almost like a "quick hit" RTS. I can sit down for 20-30 minutes and feel like I accomplished something.

Currently running: The Great Pendragon Campaign & DC Adventures - Timberline
Currently Playing: AD&D

Itachi

Bloodborne. On my 5th character right now. Oh boy, I can't stop playing it.

I hope the big secret From supposedly have for e3 is Bloodborne 2.

Vile Jester

Prey is all right so far. Though entirely predictable, it's my first time having any non-VR fun in a couple of years.

Dumarest

I don't play video games but my kids like the ones that simulate driving racecars at Chuck E. Cheese.

Voros

I got DOOM used for the PS4. Enjoying the hell out of it.

ant

Dedicating too much of my limited game time to World of Tanks. Aside from that, Metal Gear Solid 5 and Crusader Kings 2 are running nicely along. Just finished an Eire run with 80% of European nobility either related to the reigning empress or under her fealty.

I played Life is Strange. It is fantastic, if you like roleplaying. It's kind of like a video choose-your-own-adventure. I highly recommend it. $20 on Steam (cheaper on Amazon for xbox and ps). It took me 16 hours to complete, and I didn't even get all the side stuff.

Quote from: Voros;958505Interested in the latest game by the shit disturber who made Mountain. It's called Everything and is based on Alan Watts talks to a degree. You play everything there is.

I bought this and played a few hours so far. Once you get over the weird non animation of the animals it's kind of interesting.

I got Street Fighter II for my family's Nintendo today. My wife and kids are gone for the weekend so a buddy is coming over Saturday night and we're going to play Street Fighter II and Mario Kart while having some beers.

Baeraad

I just finished Mass Effect Andromeda. Now I'm trying to figure out just where all the gamer hate is coming from. My own impression of the game aligns more with the reviews, like this one - that is to say, some strong parts, some weak parts, overall pretty fun but nothing spectacular.

I'll second this one. Amazing stuff. :D
Add me to the ranks of people who have stopped posting here because they can\'t stand the RPGPundit. It\'s not even his actual opinions, though I strongly disagree with just about all of them. It\'s the psychotic frothing rage with which he holds them. If he ever goes postal and beats someone to death with a dice bag, I don\'t want to be listed among his known associates, is what I\'m saying.

I need to play Life is Strange. Just got Dishonored 2 used.

Dumarest

We found a Round Table Pizza near us that has Dig Dug, Ms. Pac-Man, and Galaga. So that's pretty cool. Except for the nasty pizza.

Ras Algethi

Playing the beta for Battletech. Only skirmish right now but pretty dang fun.

How is the AI and the learning curve?

Doom

Just back from E3. The game that made the biggest impression was Archangel, a big robot VR fighting game. I've played my share of the like (both VR and big robot), and this is the first action game that really made consider buying an Oculus just to get the game.

A nice education blog.
