This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Video Games: What are you playing?

I had a hell of a lot of fun playing Dishonored, but it didn't strike me as that expansive re:gameplay... is there something that makes 2 much better or is it just a great sequel to a good game?

Of course I'm having problems because I refuse to move from my 360 to the XboxOne, and I still prefer consoles for a lot of games, though Steam (and Laptops...) have taken a greater role in recent years. Gotta be able to lug the entire system around and play on the fly, yo.
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.

Switched from Skyrim to Fallout 4 on my XBone.

I find my inability to craft a house with a decent wall and roof highly annoying.

Maybe the whole post-apocalyptic theme just isn't for me.

Any sandbox-type SF games out there for XBox? NOT Mass Effect?

For games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim I'd move to the Steam PC, just for Modding.  Even if the only damn mod you want is a fancy house... dear god, the houses people have created for those games!

I mean: I know you CAN mod on the consols... somehow? But in this case I, a console preferrererer, stick with the PC

Mods are available for both on the XBox, I'll check them out, thanks!

I'm currently playing Planet Explorers since I finally realized it is out of beta now. I am really tempted to get Stellaris.

I just got it last week  (and have been playing way too much of) Stars in Shadow, which is a space 4x game in the vein of Moo2.

Not staggeringly original, but nicely streamlined and actually has turn based tactical combat, which almost every space 4x game doesn't.

Quote from: NikalausBig;956219Currently playing Dishonored 2, great atmosphere, hundreds of different gameplay mechanics, it's cool :)

So just like the first one, which I really liked.

I'm a cheap player--I like Trion's RIFT (a free to play through level 65 MMO) on my PC.

And I like KEMCO's turn-based RPGs on Android--currently playing Journey to Kreisia (phone) and Asdivine Hearts (tablet).

I've really gotten into Overwatch myself. Fun game when you can avoid the asshats. Making teams cuts down on that.

Voros

Enjoying Death Road to Canada. May tire of its permadeath approach eventually though.

Dionysus

Zelda Breath of the Wild and Hitman.

I'm trying to get level mastery of Colorado on professional difficulty. It's my least favorite level in the game but you unlock a sniper rifle that plays Ave Maria for doing it so...

Arkansan

Been playing the hell out of Battle Brothers. Funny that I discovered it because here lately I've been burning through the Black Company novels.

Voros

Interested in the latest game by the shit disturber who made Mountain. It's called Everything and is based on Alan Watts talks to a degree. You play everything there is.

Currently playing Seven Days To Die Starvation mod, its very cool :) waiting for my new pc arrival :)
