OK I get that people where unhappy with her nerf but it was necessary tri tank was bad for the game on so meany levels and contrary to your OPINION she's still competitive.
I should know I play D.Va the difference is she actuly dies to the tank killers and has to pick her battles rather then then just run in 1/2 cocked and get off scot free simply because she remembers to leave the firefight at 150 hp.
I'm not going to lie she has less raw power then she had but she has considerably more versatility and finesse to her play. Tons of raw power and finesse is going to be nerfed in any game its a natural combination that leads something ending up OP.

No. The nerf to her guns definitely did effect her play. It made her entire offense a lot less threatening and made her a lot less of a contender in just basic play.

Playing by the meta. Any meta. I believe is cheating.

The fact you never played to the meta is irreverent it's not a single player game and while yes she lost damage 2 points (from 8 bullets of 3 per shot(24) to 11 bullets of 2 per shot(22)) she actuly has an easier time confirming her frags because her damage is more consistent and reliable. As to your consideration  of playing to the meta being cheating its not in ANY game there are going to be options that are at least situationally superior this is true of every game from overwatch to tf2 to chess and checkers.
I get it your butt hurt that your favorite character got nerfed a big one (from 400 armor and 200 hp(600) to 200 armor and 400 hp (600)) I'v been there the difference is I'm being objective about it and you aren't.\

I recently discovered GOG.com, and have been enjoying some of the better computer games I missed when they originally came out.

Currently playing Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri extended (SMACX).

On a huge random map, playing the Spartans, trying for an economic victory...because nobody free markets like the Spartans.  It's 2185 and I've got Industrial Auto, half the early game secret projects, and have a good chance of getting the other half by 2200.

I'm on a continent by myself, so no real threat.  The Believers want me dead, and I'm like :rolleyes:.  Everybody else wants to be my friend, but it's only a matter of time before the Gaians declare vendetta on me.  Again, :rolleyes:.  Cause I got impact weapons, hypnotic trance, and half a dozen elite units who've been bored out of their minds for nearly half a century.

It's an absorbing game.  I understand why it was regarded so well during its time (still is, by many).  Sound is buggy on my desktop, though.

Before this I tried the original Master of Orion, but that games hates me, so I gave up.

A lot of early PC games are painful to attempt today. Some real gems though. The early Ultima series is still durable for instance.
