So, fuck The Witcher. At least for now. The world is intriguingly WFRPesque, and the storyline is charmingly corny (that redhead mage girl is so going into a refrigerator), but the combat... ugh. I might hit it later on when I don't have anything else to play.

Wife and I briefly considered replaying Borderlands 2 in True Vault Hunter mode, but we don't quite see the point of replaying the exact same game with the exact same character only everyone has more health and deals more damage... how is that "more difficult" if you've also leveled and collected loot? Diablo 3, I'm looking at you too.

We wanted to give World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor a serious try (didn't even leave the starting area with our good ol' level 90 characters) but Borderlands: the Pre-Sequel won out as we crave more FPS-meets-CRPG zaniness.

Haven't played Elder Scrolls: Skyrim in weeks. I kind of miss my Orc tank, last seen hanging like a ragdoll from a dragon's jaws. Wondering whether to spec 1H and shield, or 2H... I usually go 2H in just about every CRPG I play, but 1H and shield sounds fun, if I ever actually get parrying right.

So aside from being engrossed in Super Smash Bros I picked up an Atari 2600 today and cleaned it up. I'll be plugging it in and testing it soon :)

Then it'll probably be lots of pax-man

Quote from: The Butcher;803603Diablo 3, I'm looking at you too.

I'm stuck in a grind now, I need set pieces (Either Firebird or Tal Rasha, because I am a wizard and LASER BEAMS!!!) but the only source is random drops... and I haven't got all the recipes yet, so there's still a bunch of them in my drop table. It's very disappointing to do a rift, get three legendaries, and them all be recipes; I can't speed up the process because I can't play on higher Torments yet (I can just about play backup on T3), and I can't play higher Torments until I get the gear.

It's fun to play the game for it's own sake, but I'd like to get somewhere.

Currently playing Gauntlet 2014. a remake of the old Arcade fantasy dungeon romp.
A good laugh for the price and what it is.

From tomorrow, when elite Dangerous is released, I'll be playing that. Assuming the Login servers don't crash and burn on day 1 that is!  :D

Like I said, I admit I don't really get the draw of replaying the exact same game with the exact same character. I mean, I like replays well enough, but I'd rather try a new character (I'm not even halfway through the Skyrim core quest line and I already know what I want my next character to be).

The difficulty bump, at least as featured in Diablo 3 and Borderlands 2, is meaningless because you've leveled up and geared up more or less in proportion to your enemies' increased menace.

I'd rather see the core campaign at a given level cap and each successive expansion or DLC increasing the cap and the loot, while at the same time introducing new areas, new quests, new plot elements. Kind of like NWN 1 and 2. Maybe exploring the mysteries of the core game, or the aftermath of the PCs' actions.

Oh, I do agree, in general; it's rare for me to replay games, or "farm". I just really like D3, is all.

I should review Reaper of Souls! Catch up with Kezzy the Demon Hunter. See what she's been doing.

Playing Sword of the Stars: The Pit. Excellent little rogue-like. Unfortunately, rogue-likes always depressingly remind me of real life: You struggle minute by minute to reach a satisfying end, only to be  screwed by a random convergence of events and killed by a disease you blew off a few turns ago.

I've clocked in nearly three thousand hours with Dota 2.

We got the Christmas gift Wii U fired up and running, and then there was Super Mario World 3D....

I'm now firmly convinced that the devs who world built the Mario World were high.

Or living in Colorado and got the fumes from neighbors.

All that being said, the Wii U is a nice piece of equipment. The backwards compatibility with the original Wii is a huge selling point to me, and it means that the Wii games we have will take on new life. And apparently Lizard Squad thinks that those who play  Nintendo games aren't REAL gamers, because they didn't target the Nintendo network when they DDoS-ed the PS Network and XBox Live.

Future Villain Band

I'm playing Watch_Dogs right now, because my wife got it for me on sale.  I'm really enjoying playing what's either a modern day Eclipse Phase/Shadowrun Augmented Reality framework, or Person of Interest: The Video Game.

I got GTA V, as well, but since most people have said V is superior to Watch_Dogs, I decided not to let it suffer in comparison and played it first.

I'm currently trying to complete Super Metroid in under 3 hours with 100% pickups.
My recent attempt last night was 98% in 2:58.

im playing super smash bros for wii u its fun but im a bit annoyed they dont have a subspace emissary type mode anymore

also either i have gotten much better or 100 man smash has gotten a lot easier

If your having tier problems i feel bad for you son i got 99 problems but caster supremacy aint 1.

Apology\'s if there is no punctuation in the above post its probably my autism making me forget.

Civ 4
Wastelands 2
7 Days To Die

If I had to narrow it down to just one of the above, it would be Civ 4.  I can lose 4 to 5 hours without noticing the time passing.

Endless Legend has taken up most of my computer gaming hours lately. It's a very good fantasy 4X game.
