Video Games: What are you playing?

Heya,

Just wondering what everyone else is playing at the moment...

I'm currently playing a mix of older games and a couple newer ones:

Legend of Zelda (NES) - Played this a million times. It's always fun.

Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast) - holy crap, a half-way decent 3D sonic game!? Fun, a bit short and I still think having real people in sonic is pants on head stupid.

Sonic Lost World (Wii U) - oh man, I really want to like this game. It's basically  Super Sonic: Galaxy but with worse controls and annoying levels. Some parts are so good and fun while others are so Meh. Still I'm largely enjoying it.

Mario Kart 8 (Wii U) - Haven't actually played yet but I will be this weekend. :)

You?

I just finished the exemplary and gruesome Whitstleblower, which was DLC for the horror game Outlast.  Pretty much concurrently I finished the rather unnerving Spec Ops: The Line - military shooters are not usually my thing but it was intelligent and self-aware enough to pique my interest.

Also recently picked up Heroes of Might and Magic III from GOG.com for nostalgia's sake.

Before that I was really into Dishonoured and its DLC - I did a couple of playthroughs alternatively being stealthy or murderous.

Gabriel2

Played 2 and a half hours of Desert Bus tonight.

What?

Basically I used it as an excuse to listen to music for a while.  I needed some time to just listen to music and daydream.

Otherwise, I've mainly been playing 2600 and 7800 games lately: Missile Command, Space Attack, Ms Pac Man, Adventure, Pac Man Arcade, Jr Pac Man (7800), Space Duel (7800).

The Butcher

I play WoW (by myself) or GW2 (with the missus) when I have the time.

Still debating with myself whether to get Fallout 3 or Skyrim.

My wife's a real hardcore gamer while I only occasionaly get obsessed with a video game. At the moment I'm playing Dragon's Dogma on our Xbox 360. Love it.

I'm currently playing Borderlands 2 and Bindings of Isaac.  I've picked up a cheap copy of Darksiders 2 in the bargain bin, so I guess that's next.

Snowman0147

Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, and Dark Souls 2.  Very interested in Project Beast because it might be Demon's Souls 2.

Butcher, if you're considering Fallout 3, consider getting New Vegas instead.  It's an all-around better game in my opinion.  Truer to the feel of the original games, with a more interesting setting and a built-in hardcore mode.

I enjoyed Skyrim more than either, though.

I think you can't even buy one without the other now. But I'll double-check, thanks.

Skyrim looks sexy as all hell, I just felt that maybe a break from the fantasy genre would be nice.

Those are really good. My wife is nuts for them.

Well, yeah, considering that Obsidian is almost entirely staffed with ex-Black Isle folks.

Guild Wars 2 (it replaced WoW for me) and rarely a game of Mechwarrior Online.  Oh, and Master of Magic when I'm not online.

Playing Rayman: Legends with a friend once a week. It's one of the best platformers I've ever played, and I've played a lot.

Also playing Diablo III with friends. I didn't buy the anti-hype and I'm glad, very satisfying.
