This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Now on Crowdfundr: "SOLO MARTIAL BLUES" is a single-player martial arts TTRPG at https://fnd.us/solo-martial-blues?ref=sh_dCLT6b

Omega

There is also the PC game Armagetron. I used to play that networked in first person mode. That was wild.

The two games mentioned are from the Warpspawn site. That guy has made a ton of games. Theres even a Spelljammer one and more.

I have yet to find something that emulates faithfully Discs of Tron. God, I loved that game, quirky raise/lower dial and pilot joystick controls and all. Without that raise-able/lower-able dial and the multiple horizon bands to aim your disc height the game just doesn't feel right.
Just make your fuckin\' guy and roll the dice, you pricks. Focus on what\'s interesting, not what gives you the biggest randomly generated virtual penis.  -- J Arcane

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

I remember being little and stepping into the wrap around "environmental" cabinet, being bathed in the cool neon light and dropping as many quarters into the game as my mom would give me.

I really miss arcades.
Running: Dogs of WAR - Beer & Pretzels & Bullets
Planning to Run: Godbound or Stars Without Number
Playing: Star Wars D20 Rev.
