A few here may have heard me talking about Teen Island, or even played it in development. I'm glad to say it's now at the point where I can present it in PDF format, with fantastic art from Darren Calvert.

Teen Island is a game of highschool students fighting for survival on a remote island with Dwarf Fortress being one of the main influences on the game.

You can grab it here or here and I'd love to hear any thoughts people have after trying it.

Feedback on problems in the document is appreciated, as this isn't a final version yet.

I'd consider moving it off Rapidshare: their attempts to get you to sign up to a paid account are kind of obnoxious.

I'd love to, but at the moment keeping it as a booklet. It would be neat to provide some cards and counters with it. Definitely an idea on my backburner.

cool a Battle Royale rpg! im definitly gonna download this once you shift it to a better host than either of the ones your using(neither are letting me download it atm)

It was an easy download for me. I looked it over and it looks like it would make for a fun night of gaming - something to do in between regular sessions or when we are missing a player at the table. If the guys are up for it, I will suggest we give it a whirl on the weekend.

That what I thoght it was at first too....but it a lot closer to Survivor or an incredibly light-hearted Lord of the Flies. Although somebody has made a Battle Royale RPG, called Classroom Deathmatch. I think it's a free game from the guys that made Panty Explosion if I rememeber correctly.

yeh i noticed it was different once i started to read through it properly, ive tried the classroom deathmatch game and wasnt that impressed so i think im gonna tweak this game into a battle royale style game instead.

If you do modify the rules and have no problem with them being distributed for free then please throw whatever you hack together my way. I'm planning modular expansions for the game, three of which are nearing completion and include extra rules to give it a bit of a darker edge. If there's good stuff to steal from your own rules I'd be glad to give you a credit and work it into the expansion.

Will do. We didn't get together this past weekend, but all is set for this Sunday.
