This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

OK. Looks like some people have this.

What can you tell me about this game? Do you dis/like it? Why? What are the most interesting features about this game? Those that suck the most?

I'm really tempted, and would like to know if it's enjoyable to play, has a good replayability value, whether it's a complicated game or not, and basically how that plays out.

I  haven't played it, but I know there is a revised version out now that addresses a number of issues that apparently existed with the first printing. If you do get it, make sure you get the second printing.

I loved it.

The original games was apparently unplayable so the FFG guys basically rewrote all the rules using the same pieces which is pretty smart. So if you get a copy make sure it has the revised rules in it (also throw away the 2 summary sheets for the weapons and powers as they refer to the old rules which is very confusing).

The base game tries to recreate a FPS computer game as a board game, and it works suprisinging well. It's fast, characters die, shit happens. a game takes 1hr to 1 1/2.  You get replayability from 2 elements the board and the scenarios. So the base game as a double sided baord with the house and the crypts and there are a number of missions you can play with each board. In addition you can play capture the flag, Last man standing, and other FPS standards. On top of that there is a small but dedicated fan base that releases new missions (mixed bag as you would expect).

The cleverest bit of the game is the LOS rule. The board has 'paths' which replace squares. Circles on paths are of different colours (some are multiple colours) and if you are on a circle the same colour as someone else you have line of sight on them so all the arguments about hiding round corners and stuff are gone.

The background (weird World War with occult Nazis and Allies geared up with alien tech) is great and I can see RPG potential spilling out of it. The game peices as you would expect are excellent, although cards for the equipment and powers woudl be an improvement as you are missing those crib sheets I mentioned (the fan base has created excellent cards for this purpose you can download and print).

So the downsides -
Even with multiple missions replayability is a bit limited. You have 2 sides effectively trying to kill each other, and even though you can vary equipment and powers of the teams I reckon 12 games on a board and you will be looking to move on (there is an expansion with Russian agents that use ghosts a la HellBOY) although as I said the base game has 2 boards....
If your players are min/maxers I suspect that the team and equipment selections might become academic (but you can always randomise :) )
FFG support for the product is a bit hit and miss. The revised rules are by all accounts a godsend (I haven't played the original only the new version) but a third promised expansion has been delayed  a few times.
It claims to support upto 10 players (there are 5 characters on each side) but realistically I think the options are 2 -4 (with 1 or 2 players on each side) or maybe 6 with one player taking on the Nazis and the other players taking on one of the allied agents each, but 2 of those agents are grunt soldiers who are considerably weaker.

Overall I would give it a 7 but I think it could be a 9 if FFG had put as much effort into expansions as they do for Arkham Horror.

Basically what he said.  Just putting emphasis on the revised rules being a must.  The original rules are horribly broken.
