man, are they going to pursue support of that game like 1e had? It seems to be totally buried on the FFG website, and there's like...jack and shit available for it.
I bought a friend the core set plus road to legends for his birthday, and months later they took it out of production and the price of those things shot up.

Well, 2e isn't that old. There's the core set and Lair of the Wyrm already out. Labyrinth of Ruin is on it's way. Not to mention there's the conversion kit providing cards for all the old characters and monsters. That's not bad for a year, and I think it's a faster rate of supplementation than 1e had.
In comparsion 1e had: the core set, Altar of Despair, Well of Darkness, Road to Legend, Tomb of Ice, Sea of Blood, and Quest Compendium Volume One as the entire main game line. There were lots of "lieutenant" miniatures, but those are just single miniature packs and pretty inconsequential.
That said, FFG has a lot on their plate nowadays. Descent probably isn't as important to the company as Warhammer and Star Wars are.
