This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I used to paint my own figurines and play warhammer while I was younger, but this just takes too much time for me now ...

That said, I'm still a big fan of wargames and the setting of mechwarrior or battletech (big robots on the battlefield : always nice !!!). So, I've discovered recently mechwarrior.

The game is very nice, setup (5 to 10 minutes) is quick, it plays fast (around 30 to 45 minutes for a game), and the minis are prepainted !!!

Here's an example.

And the game doesn't use any hexes ...

As far as I'm concerned it's all about the Blood Bowl.

Quote from: The Good AssyrianAt one point the Imperial team offered to do the "Chicken Dance" every time they got a +1 to use the heavy blasters on their AT-STs against the Rebel shield generator.  The looks from the other tables was priceless.  And the Rebels used some very cool arguments to model their small group of Jedis on the battlefield.

This sounds like chaos and I cannot accept your reality.
