This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The old Chaosium RuneQuest had character creation built around humans but the bestiary allowed for creating an NPC out of any creature. I'm wondering if anyone ever actually did that? Any Baboons or Elf PCs roaming around Glorantha?
Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing. ~Robert E. Howard

Grognard GM

I played a duck-guy in a one-off session, if that counts. Not a premade, I chose a duck.
I'm a middle aged guy with a lot of free time, looking for similar, to form a group for regular gaming. You should be chill, non-woke, and have time on your hands.

RQ2, I played ducks, dwarves and newtlings.

I never did in RQ but in RQ-derived games. This is the wrong part of the forum though

It's the other games section. What would be the correct location?

Pen and paper Roleplaying discussions. It's not just for D&D.
This part is for, say, monopoly or other kinds of games.
