light or easy rpg game for pc is what i'm looking for; kingdoms of amalur is great, fable good, too much combat gymnastics for me , though; knights of old republic is on my list , after i play koa demo ; thanks final fantasy 8 is a possible (steam); thanks

Old republic is a fun game and you can play into the endgame for free. My son plays it a lot. I used to, but I have other more pressing time sinks now.

Dungeon Siege is pretty light. It practically plays itself.

Any of the old SSI Gold Box D&D or Dragonlance games.

Quite a few classic modules were converted to Unlimited Adventures.
