This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

You have too much free time.

And when that happens, I post a flash game that drinks the milkshake of your free time.

(Click on the word "play" when it finishes loading.  This will not trigger the ad, it will trigger the starting animation of dancing swords and then start the game.)

I think it's available at several websites, but the link above works for me.

I was introduced to this cerebral addiction by a local buddy who's also hooked on Settlers of Catan.

This kind of reverse recruitment happens to me a lot.  I say, "Hey, do you want to play a game of--"

And they interrupt with: "Try playing this new thing"

and I'm hooked.
"By their way of thinking, gold and experience goes[sic] much further when divided by one. Such shortsighted individuals are quick to stab their fellow players in the back if they think it puts them ahead. They see the game solely as a contest between themselves and their fellow players.  How sad.  Clearly the game is a contest between the players and the GM.  Any contest against your fellow party members is secondary." I already played it and won, but I just wanted to say that it was fun. Check it out!

The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.
