This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

ahhh, opening and shutting doors on the bad guys, my favourite tactic in Grimrock .. specially againsts slimes and ranged bastards when you don't have room to dodge.

One is enough. When they're all over the fucking level, it's a pain in the ass...

I don't have enough antivenom to handle spiders! I have seen just one so far. If there's ever more than one, my merry band of prisoners is royally screwed.
"Tony wrecks in the race because he forgot to plug his chest piece thing in. Look, I\'m as guilty as any for letting my cell phone die because I forget to plug it in before I go to bed. And while my phone is an important tool for my daily life, it is not a life-saving device that KEEPS MY HEART FROM EXPLODING. Fuck, Tony. Get your shit together, pal."

Sleeping makes you recover from venom, ultimately (you need to wait and be patient while sleeping).

Great to know! I managed to poison my thief with a poison cloud I cast :D
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

Ah! That happened to me as well. :D

Really? I assumed if I rested, they would die in their sleep. :(

The downside is that you're spending time resting, so your adventurers go hungry. I'm running out of supplies right now (starting level 4), but I acquired a damn crossbow.

Well, for me food has not been a problem yet (level 3), but I would give anything for a missile weapon. I got some arrows, but no bow or crossbow. My thief is getting quite deadly with knifes and stones, but she needs more punch.

Plenty of food on level 5, crabs on level 5 though, so more sleepings!
Sleep will cure poison and disease.
Grim Cap mushies are both alchemy and food. I found food more important :)

Personally I love that falling down pit traps is rewarding more often than not!

It gets tougher.

Yeah same thing. There are often rewards down the pit traps! Everything's worth exploring!

No spoilers, please, but I need to know how the fuck you make potions. I found a scroll with ingredient lists for two potions (healing and antivenom) and two empty flasks, but I don't know how to create them.

You will need a specific item to combine ingredients. When you find it, you will know it.
Now with a Zine!

OK, that's what I needed to know. I thought I was doing something wrong :) Thanks.
