This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Yes, please. All of it.
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

Man, I still have a notebook filled to the brim with the maps I made while playing all those games. Beautiful, detailed maps, 1 square = 1 step, hours and hours poured onto them. This game is like my childhood in 3 minutes :D

Man, do I share the feeling. There's nothing quite like playing a good dungeon crawl computer game alone in the dark. It's awesome. I really can't wait for this game to come out. And I have not bought a PC game for like, fucking ages now.

Yes, I have been looking expectantly at this one!

It will get my money before Diablo III does.

I'm heavily into PC gaming and my opinion is pretty well shown here:

So, I'm pretty happy about this game.

The video is spot-on, nad to make it worse, it's got me hankering for some old school FPS action. I'm off to find download link or torrent for Ye Olde Doom, but if anyone's got a good FPS to recommend, with little or no bullshit cutscenes or railroading, I'll be happy to give the PC game industry a bit more money.

Operation Flashpoint and the continuations. Only FPS I ever bothered with.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

The video exaggerates, but it makes a valid point. Read this discussion on FPS map design and the arguments people bring up. Do they sound familiar?

Too familiar.

I am not too much for the "maze design" of FPS to be honest - because they make me nauseous (I mean really, they do. I can't play an FPS for longer then hour - two, because I feel like vomiting. No idea why's that. Probably rapid camera movement). I prefer open spaces when freedom's involved. Though I admit that alongside OF, I did finish all Half - Life 2 stuff and loved the game.

I played a fair bit of ADOM, but other then that, never was too big for dungeon crawling, PnP or PC - they just feel boring to me. I prefer investigations, generally - both of people, and of places.
