How have I not heard of this game before today?
The game is a cooperative tactical-tabletop game in a world of horror with limited resources. The models look fantastic, the mood of the game is dark and consuming and the game play looks fun.
This game looks to be a mix of Monster Hunter and Warhammer Quest, both games which I love dearly. I have yet to find a good replace for Warhammer Quest and I might have found it.
I'm trying my damnest not to give them money, but I think excitement will consume my rational thought.
Looked very promising until I saw the anime style artwork which killed my interest dead.
I can't take anime art seriously.
I admit that it caught my attention for the cheesecake/pin-up art, but then I backed the hell off when I saw this monster concept:

YIKES... the designer has some WEEEIRRD deep down issues about women.

Yes, we should definitely start taking people's artistic endeavors as evidence of their personal issues and mental health.
Man, I bet that Stephen King guy has tons of bodies rotting in his crawlspace!
The Wet-Nurse has had a bit of a reputation in the miniatures community for some time now. It's just...weird...and milky...pulpy...fleshy...
That said, the anime art turns me off. Yet, since I collect pretty much everything in 25-30mm I'm sure a few of those will wind up as PC minis in one of my big mixed boxes.

If this was a piece on display at an art gallery, or a book about gender roles and misconceptions about pregnancy, that would be one thing. But in context with the rest of the material this designer has come up- concept art for a table top game with featuring lots of scantily clad women, often in distress- it makes me wonder a bit.
Obviously I'm not saying he's a twisted woman hating misogynist... But he's definitely kind of a creep.

2 posts so far and both are personal attacks on someone you've apparently never met or spoken to.
Rock.
I hate to break my streak, but I agree with Zak. In fact, I'm willing to bet you registered for just this purpose and werr brought here by a google search related to the topic at hand.
Okay, my apologies. You're right, I was being a bit harsh.
But don't any of you agree that this stuff is a bit... messed up?
Not any more than your average issue of Heavy Metal magazine. Which is my way of saying, no, not really. I mean it's body horror, sister; it is supposed to be fucked up.

Are you sure you're in the right place?
Too grotesque for my sensibilities. Some pictures make me want to look away immediately.
Dont think its enough reason to question the authors sanity though.
