Rumors so take it with a giant mountain of salt.
But if it does and gamers pay it, well they get what they fucking deserve.

Thanks for the information!
I am sure the $150 will cover all micro-transactions.

I like GTA, certainly not that much. I am a budget gamer however.
Does any one else think that GTA is a little over rated. Like I said I like the games. Has the game play evolved that much over the years. I swear the movement mechanics still feel chunky, slow and delayed.
Maybe it is part of the charm.
Garbage series anyway, except the Vice City sdtk
I don't have high hopes for this one anyway. Chances are the Rockstar of today doesn't resemble the one that made the other gta games. Hope I'm wrong but the industry is not giving me high hopes.

There goes another sarcasm meter.
How long has GTA 6 been in development for? I can see the price tag jumping with each year, to "keep up with inflation". But yeah, if people pay those prices then they can't be angry if the companies keep raising them, game after game...
I'm guessing Rockstar will be following the current trend of having tiered "editions". I'm guessing the 150 is for the top tier with all the planned DLC and "season pass".
That said... it makes me sad to see the state of Videogames. I remember when paid expansions and DLCs were something to get excited about. The one that comes to mind most for me was D2: Lord of Destruction. I was so excited for it! couldn't wait to get it installed.
Now it seems to be just gimmicks and content that would have been included in the initial purchase decades ago.
Another game destroyed by the cult no doubt as well. Be ready for the standard blaming on gamers for not accepting trash.
Makes it easy to decide when to jump on board: when the price is that of a normal game.
GTA series never appealed to me, but I hope it's good for those who enjoy it.
I am sure the $150 will cover all micro-transactions. As sure as I know the sky is pink.
