I suspect many people here have those games, but if not, they are some of the best old school PC CRPGs.

Worth getting an online copy anyway.
Yes! Get these if you don't have them, they are an experience all their own. Then hung down the fallout 2 restoration mod which adds in a good bit of content that was not properly developed or cut at the last minute.
There's Fallout 1 restoration mod as well now.
Ah, I love me some classic Fallout. Good find OP, and thanks.
Thanks for the link!
How is Fallout Tactics?

Will these work with the Fallout compilation disc? I love these games but I never managed to get them to function properly. Any links that you can provide?
Love Tactics, it reminds me of the early XCOM games.
Thanks for the link!
Got the email this morning; yay!

Well, if not, just grab these while they are free

Sorry this is so late but yes the fallout 2 restoration patch will work with the compilation disc. I don't know about the fallout 1 restoration patch because had Ricewind not pointed it out I would not have known it existed and have not tried it out yet.

It's not as good as the F2 one, but it does give in some cool new (well...old? Old new?) content.
I had a patch pack that also kind of improved the graphics a bit. I still had trouble with locking story lines, though, so I was wondering if the version Rincewind spoke about was different or improved from the one I used.
