This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I've always felt it was something I should look at, but never actually have.

Skarg

I know almost nothing about it. I thought it was a mod for (computer game) Team Fortress 2 which involved staging slapstick nonsense scenes. No?

Think Minecraft, but with a palette of items from any Source Engine game you have installed, so Counterstrike, Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, etc... and access to the Havok Physics engine and Lua scripting.

So yeah, you can make a video of TF2 guys teabagging eachother, but you can also create mods for Valve games or your own games using Valve's resources.
Even the the "cutting edge" storygamers for all their talk of narrative, plot, and drama are fucking obsessed with the god damned rules they use. - Estar

Yeah, my son is really into it - it's apparently all about making really stupid in-joke videos for youtube. You could make your own game, but the sad thing is that video-gamers don't appear to be that smart or tenacious.

You can also come up with something that is not only original and creative and artistic, but also maybe even decent, or moral if I can use words like that, or something that\'s like basically good -Lester Bangs
