This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

When it comes to properties in fable 3 just stick to the shops at first then buy the houses once your king and have sorted the main storyline that way you should have enough spare cash to do em up and keep them reasonably repaired without to much trouble.

My wife loved Fable 2, but thought Fable 3 was forgettable. There's less character customization, the new inventory system is irritating and less robust, the new map system is a waste of programming and all the "run the kingdom" stuff is boring. They should have just programmed tons more quest material using the Fable 2 engine. YMMV, of course.

Quote from: kryyst;421840Fable 1 actually was more of a challenge then I remember it.  It doesn't hold your hand nearly as much or lead you around by the nose.  Combat, well doing really well at combat required timing and skill much more then Fable II and the Demon Doors are much better.
I agree 100%. This was the only Fable that I liked at all for the reasons you mention, among other things.
