This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

This popped onto my radar through Gurellia Miniature Games preview.

After playing a ton of 5 Parsecs From Home, I'm really digging these solo and/or co-op mini games. Easy to get into, high replayability, built from the beginning to be a solo game so you can play when you're not able to get an opponent, or just have a free evening and want to push minis around.

Looking forward to this when it finally comes out.
The notion of an exclusionary and hostile RPG community is a fever dream of zealots who view all social dynamics through a narrow keyhole of structural oppression.

Have you also tried Rangers of Shadow Deep? Depending what you like obviously, but Rangers is more narratively focused and easier to set up than 5PFH, which is why I chose it. Demon Ship looks promising though, might push me to use some of the SF minis I have laying around.

Fallout Wasteland Warfare has a fully fleshed out solo system.

I've looked at Rangers. The narrative focus is kinda what turned me away from Rangers. I was having a blast with 5P and it randomness and emergent play.

How's it play?  I love Fallout and more Solo games is never a bad thing.  That said a lot of solo variants just feel tacked on so i'm hesitant to purchase based on that alone.
