This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Mini gaming on the cheap.

Quote from: thedungeondelver;325981I'd love to have some modern 20mm US infantry, as well as Russians, for my Twilight:2000 games.  Any sources on those?

Do you want metal or plastic? 20mm plastic is easy:

If you look for the Revell minis they often can be found in a boxed set with a vehicle model. I have about three boxes of Bundeswehr Panzergrenadiers that came with Marder IFVs. (Although the Marders are serving in Stargrunt games with 15mm metals from Ground Zero Games).

Platoon 20 used to do moderns - not sure who is making them these days.

http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/topics.mv?id=100 would be a place to ask questions about metal minis.

Quote from: Joshua Ford;325045use those with Epic minis (dirt cheap on EBay)

I haven't noticed that... though I keep looking. All the Epic stuff I find seems to be going for 'collector' prices... maybe it's just the stuff I want...

Sorry, I meant the Epic figures rather than models - I'm really not too fond of Epic AFVs. I have a stack I do need to sell though so I might check out the going rate... I know the plastic stuff won't get much but maybe the Predators and Russ' might bring in a bit.
