This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). Wretched Folklore by Matthew Thomas, released today on Drivethru and Big Geek Emporium (it will be available later at Lulu.com as well)

On its face, Wretched Folklore it is a bestiary of creatures inspired by both Native American and European folklore to use in your Wretched Country and Wretched Époque campaigns. As games written with the OSR in mind—or, more aptly, written with the OSR game design philosophy as a guide—the Red Room's offerings can fit into just about any game system with very little tweaking. This supplement, Wretched Folklore, is no different. You will find monsters that are, hopefully, unique and not your standard critter found in a monster manual of the world's most popular role-playing game. Perhaps one of these monsters will make a fitting substitute for a creature found in a module of your own.
