WARCOSM(tm) is Precis Intermedia's (http://www.pigames.net) easy-to-learn and quick-paced tabletop game that simulates fleet-based space battles using either miniatures or flat counters. Warcosm's game mechanics encourage tactics without the overwhelming burden of excessive rules, allowing players to control six, ten, or even a few dozen ships for scalable battles. Its attractive price, coupled with the option of either a PDF (http://www.pigames.net/store/product_info.php?products_id=423) or Printed Starter Set (http://www.pigames.net/store/product_info.php?products_id=424), means that you don't have to spend a fortune.
Arrival of the Warcosm is imminent. Prepare for War.
I wonder if there's any way to combine this with Thousand Suns. :)
No idea, but it wouldn't be too hard to add your own weapons and subsystems.
Cool. This looks really interesting, Brett. Between IG, Coyote Trail, and Two-Fisted Tales, and now this, you're giving me too much to play! :)
Looks good. I think I'm going to check this one.
I've been working on the Shipyard Program for Mac/Windows as well. It's coming along nicely. There's a custom font that comes with the PDF so that you can reproduce special weapon bearing icons. The Shipyard exports to HTML and custom BBCode, but relies on this font so that other players can just copy/paste the data, making sharing your fleets and scenarios a snap. It can also export to JPG for those who don't have the font. I couldn't say when the program will be ready for release, since it needs considerable testing on both platforms, not to mention tweaking and some features.

Brett, is the starter set only 14.95??!!?

That is correct. It's kind of my new micro-game price point :)
Here's a screenshot of the Shipyard program in development. It's still rough as it's missing several interface elements like icons and such.
Warcosm is now available!
Looks good Brett, it made it into the Top 10 of the top 100 sellers on RPG Now.
I likes me some minis games, might have to check it out.
Its #9 this morning! Nice work, pal! Next paycheck, it will be mine!
