This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The Tumult of Winter
Under the merciless onslaught of winter, the characters make for a crumbling castle a mere stone's throw from a famous battlefield. The victory won there has been forgotten however, and now a despairing garrison and several dozen survivors of the ongoing war have taken refuge in the castle's shell. But nefarious forces are at work in this liminal place where there is little to differentiate the living from the dead.

The Tumult of Winter is an original tale for the historical fantasy role-playing game, Medieval Tales. It is designed for less experienced characters. The setup assumes the characters are soldiers (or mercenaries) in the ongoing Hundred Years War, but the introduction can easily be modified to allow characters of any background to become involved.

Features of this product include:

* A 40-page adventure.

* Maps of the castle of Beaufort-en-Vallee.

* Printable standup miniatures for PCs and important NPCs.

The Tumult of Winter is a 48-page .pdf download. Check this and other Medieval Tales products through the link below:
