SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The Atlas-class Freighter is here! It is now available as a PDF on Drive-thru RPG and as a PDF or softcover preorder at the Independence Games webstore.

Please keep in mind that this is the Clement Sector third edition update of Ships of Clement Sector 17: Atlas-class Freighter. Unlike some other companies, we don't think it's moral to ask you to pay for an update to an existing product. So if you purchased SOCS 17: Atlas-class freighter already, you should currently have the new version in your DTRPG library or have gotten a notification from our webstore to download the new version.

However, if you don't already own a copy of this, now is the perfect time to get aboard!

Also, keep in mind that if you preorder the softcover version from the IG Webstore, you will get the PDF immediately on preorder.

The Atlas-class freighter is the second most commonly found ship in Clement Sector. Building on the information found in Clement Sector Third Edition, this updated volume lovingly details this shipping legend and brings it up the Clement Sector Third Edition rules and standards.

Created by Cascadian legend James Lancaster, the Atlas is perhaps his most enduring legacy. The vessel was first used by Lancaster Shipping and, later, by his Cascadia Colonization Authority (before it became a Cascadian government agency). Following Lancaster's voluntary break-up of his shipping company, the Atlas started being used by corporations, governments, and individuals across the sector.

Within these pages, you will find the standard Atlas as well as these popular variants:

Colony Ship - Based on Lancaster's original design to ferry colonists to new worlds in Clement Sector, the Atlas-class Colony Ship is still in use today on the frontier.

Armed Merchantman - Used by some governments as system defense and some corporations as escorts, the Atlas-class Armed Merchantman and its particle beam barbettes pack quite a punch.

Missile Ship - Trading the cargo pods for missile bays, the Atlas-class Missile Ship can form the backbone of a system's defense forces when they cannot afford to build or purchase a warship. Pirates beware!

Passenger Variant - Rearranging the Atlas' interior space and pods to be able to carry the maximum amount of passengers and cater to their needs.

Extended Range - Using the Atlas' famous cargo capacity to hold more fuel to allow for transits into open space or simply extend the ship's ability to go without refueling.

The Atlas-class Freighter comes complete with beautiful views of the ship created by fan-favorite artist Ian Stead. The Atlas is presented with full deckplans created by our starship guru Michael Johnson to make your use of our product simple, easy, and fun. In addition, the ship comes with a set of adventure hooks to get your characters right into the action as well as two short stories written by Bradley Warnes.

Though designed specifically with our Clement Sector setting in mind, the Atlas will be at home in any science fiction setting.

Climb aboard! Adventure awaits!
