This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hi, all!

So we just finished our third day of funding, and we're over halfway to our goal of $500! The Compleat Beastman is a zine created for Luke Crane's Zine Quest Challenge. Each issue focuses on a single species or group of related species of "-taurs" or "-men". The first issue is all about centaurs (and bisontaurs, cameltaurs, donkeytaurs and zebrataurs if we hit our 1k stretch goal). Here's what you get in each issue:

*1 or more full PC classes for OSR systems, each based on the spotlight race

*PC race rules for 5E so you can play ALL OF THE SPECIES

*3 or more Assets for Ironsworn, including a species Path, a "friend of the species" Path, and a Combat Style or other Asset related to the species. MANY THANKS to Ironsworn author Shawn Tompkins for giving me his blessing to do this.

*Various NPCs, and not just thugs, mages and the like, but real NPCs with backstory, motives and adventure seeds, with stats for multiple game systems

*Location write-ups

*Printable paper minis

*Stock art license for multiple pieces that you can use for personal or PROFESSIONAL projects. The first issue features at least two centaurs from Matt Bualahao and at least one location scene from Randy Musseau.

At higher tiers you also get:

*Unlimited print codes for all the zines from this campaign

*Unlimited at-cost discounts on acrylic minis produced for this campaign, at least one set per issue

Right now as far as add-ons go, we're making some of the artwork available as high-quality prints of the artwork, starting with Randy's Centaur Kurgan piece. I'll have more details on that within a day or two.
