Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

TRIUNE RPG AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER

Happy Bishop Games is now taking pre-orders for its first roleplaying game, Triune. Pre-orders can be made at the Happy Bishop Games webstore: http://happybishopgames.com/?page_id=423.

The Triune RPG provides a unique roleplaying experience. It combines science fiction with real religions. In fact, religions such as Christianity and Islam serve as character classes, with powers based on prayers and traditions. Other classes include sins such as anger or jealousy as well as careers such as politics and service industry. Players take rolls as police offers hunting down angels, devils, and the humans who serve them. In the setting, Faith is outlawed--yet every player-character has faith. Will they support the government and hunt down the faithful? Or will they betray their leaders and support the faithful?

The game use the Effort System, a new dice mechanic that allows players to manage the risk/reward of each roll. If a player wants to roll a critical hit, they have to risk a critical failure. But if you don't want to risk that fumble, no problem--however you don't get a chance at a critical hit either.

The Triune Corebook Players' Edition has everything needed for a player to enjoy Triune but nothing for the GM. This allows us to sell the corebook more cheaply for players--they only get what they need. The Triune Corebook Gamemasters' Edition has everything that's in the Players' Edition plus secret setting information, tips on running games, and an introductory adventure. GMs only have to buy one book to get everything they need to play or run a game.

Both editions are available for pre-orders and are on sale. The Players' Edition PDF normally costs $11.99 but only costs $9.99 for pre-order. Likewise, the Gamemasters' Edition PDF normally costs $15.99 but only costs $13.99 for pre-order.
