This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

http://www.pigames.net">Precis Intermedia is pleased to announce that it has acquired the intellectual property rights to the Mean Streets roleplaying game line, originally created and published by Mark Bruno and Deep7, LLC respectively. Mean Streets takes the best and bleakest aspects of film noir, presenting a concept with which to role-play cynical private eyes, unscrupulous gangsters, and dangerous femme fatales as portrayed in film noir from the 1940s and better part of the 1950s.

"It's amazing to me that Mean Streets it still going strong after all these years, and is just as popular today (if not more) as it was when first published in 2002," said Mean Streets creator Mark Bruno. "Now, five years later, Mean Streets will see new life breathed into the property through the able-bodied and creative hands of Precis Intermedia."

Means Streets is currently available in its original form as published by Deep7 (and available from Precis Intermedia http://www.pigames.net/store/default.php?cPath=43_50_55">here), and will continue to be until an already-planned second edition is released jointly by Deep7 and Steampower Publishing, under license from Precis Intermedia. Future editions are also planned for Precis Intermedia game lines, such as a noir add-on for Two-Fisted Tales and as a genreDiversion stand-alone game.

"Precis Intermedia and Deep7 have been partners for years," said Deep7 president Todd Downing. "It only makes sense that they would become the custodians of such a strong property. It's been a solid title for us ever since its release, and I'm looking forward to working with Precis Intermedia on future editions."

For more information about the current incarnation of the Mean Streets roleplaying game and other titles in the line, visit the Deep7 web site at www.deep7.com, or purchase them directly from the Precis Intermedia online store (and Deep7's official sales processor) at www.pigames.net

I'd seriously consider compressing my schedule, then write submissions with the object of helping on the revision for dirt cheap :D

Email me through the pigames.net site (use 'Submission' for the subject), so I get your email address. If you have a forum account, let me know what it is to give you access to the private playtest forum (or create a new account). I'll email you the playtest rules. Thanks.
