SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

"It strikes me as a nigh-perfect marriage of rules engine with game feel. It strikes me as fascinating."

That's what noted industry commentator Ken Hite said about Hot War, our game of secrets, lies, friends and enemies set in a post-apocalypse 1960s London, in his 'Out of the Box' column!

Need more reasons to check out Hot War? Well, we've just made available another two free downloads to support your games.

First off. we have a period map of London, downloadable as a two page PDF. This is something people have been asking for since the game was launched, so we are delighted to be able to oblige. The map is based on a genuine map available for travellers in the early 1960s, so it fits in perfectly with the time period. Print it out, scrawl on it, add your own notes and make it a tangible part of your Hot War games!

The second new download was created by Sophie Melchior in New Zealand. After facilitating a game of Hot War at the Fright Night horror convention in Wellington, she was good enough to assemble her notes, characters and handouts into a complete pack that contains a game creation sheet, character sheets and handouts. We'd like to thank Sophie for taking the time to write all of this stuff up and for allowing us to host 'Project Breather' on our site.

You can download both of these items direct from our website
