Post by: Narf the Mouse on October 13, 2008, 10:32:21 PM
A $1 .pdf, A Village and some Problems is ideal for both light, casual adventuring and dark fantasy. Although it is system-neutral, D20 and Storyteller statistics are provided for NPCs as a courtesy.

Corfeler: Visit for the adventure...Stay for life.

RPGnow is hosting the .pdf (http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=58491&filters=0_0_0&free=2)

Like the idea and the price is right.   Keep at it! A drop and run scenario and setting stub. The document seems to have some extra blank lines and carriage returns or that's just a design decision on your part.

Good sample preview though for a 9 page product you might want to cut the last page (the 2nd of statistics). And if that's the cover, perhaps a general line graphic + something specific for this product.

The dark fantasy tag brings to mind stuff like Dark Sun and Warhammer Fantasy. Is that the sort of implication you have in mind? I noticed Sundered Skies is also marked as Dark Fantasy, interesting.

Oh and on a side technical note. Openoffice 3 is out, haven't had a chance to test it fully out. Does look worth the update if you've not already done so.

Thanks. :) There's a space between paragraphs, if that's what you mean.

Yeah, I should cut down the preview a bit.

Well, it definitely isn't a sunshine and puppies scenario once you find out what's going on.

Thanks, didn't know that. :)
