SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

@moderator Please delete, position filled, sorry I don't know how.

[Online] [CST] [5E] Veteran Storyteller (DM/GM) Looking for Players to join an ongoing homebrew campaign, a gruelling Desert Journey to Uncover fantastic ancient Relics.

تحية طيبة للمستكشفين البواسل وعباد السلطان الكريم
Tahiat tayibat lilmustakshifin albawasil waeabaad alsultan alkarim. (Latinised Script)
Greetings Intrepid Explorers and Dutiful Servants of the Holy Sultan. (English Version)

Time: Sunday Afternoon Game (4pm CST).

Team: An international and educated team consisting of; Storyteller (DM/GM) and three players, looking for two more players to make a total of six.

Place: Roll20.

Story: Having been commissioned by a distant relation of the Holy Sultan of Darav, your team of scholars and nobles head into the deepest, wildest parts of the Great Daravi Desert to reach the Crystal Spires, at the heart of a section of the Desert called the Looking Glass Desert. You are to find an artefact of incalculable value, perhaps of immeasurable power, and return it to the trusted agents of the Holy Sultan. Along the way you lost many true souls, and some not so true. Faced overwhelming odds, sometimes fleeing for your lives, sometimes overcoming at great cost. Throughout you will have tried to maintain your sense of what was right in a place that punishes the weak and unready. You have already met wild desert tribes and wilder foes, friendly heretics and unfriendly traitors. In this wildest of lands, it is not guaranteed you will survive, nor that your company with live to tell their tale. You can but pray and hope that despite all you will see a happy end.

Setting: Darav is ostensibly a fantasy world in the style and fashion of Dungeons & Dragons, but heavily inspired by the customs and culture of the Medieval Middle East. Essentially this is a time period when the Middle East was the shining light of human civilisation, the place where the greatest arts of a forgotten age was diligently preserved for posterity. A place of learning, science and huge cultural and artist flourishing.

Candidates: Don't worry, you don't need to be able to speak Arabic, or have a background in Early Medieval Islamic history. In fact you don't even need more than a basic high school education. The author of this campaign, with the occasional aid of an informed player, has put together a classic D&D campaign that mostly operates like any other. The difference is the depth and richness of the setting.

If you are interested in finding out more and wish to join, contact the author (not me, I'm that informed player) at -redacted-.
