Before I head off to bed, I wanted to share some humbling news.
A friend sent me a link to our Kickstarter on Forbes.com out of all places. Yeah...almost anything that says Forbes.com these days was in fact written by an independent blogger. If you look, RIGHT UNDER THE BYLINE (one Erik Kain) is a disclaimer: Opinions expressed by Forbes Contributors are their own.. That's the most important thing in that entire article.
For all I know, you or you friend Erik could have started a blog on Forbes specifically to drop some news about your game. My blog is hosted by Google. That doesn't in any way, shape or form indicate that what I say on there is representative of Google anymore than my Facebook posts are representative of Facebook. Indeed, I highly doubt anything I say HERE would be representative of RPGPundit's position. But hey, if it helps you shill your game...
P.S. A humblebrag generally refers to 'humble' statements that point to a speaker who is (usually) unintentionally bragging. You're just plain old bragging and there's no humility involved.

Erik Kain has been around at least for 4 years. He and Paul Tassi got a lot of extra traffic when they covered the Ending Debacle to Mass Effect 3. So, while not a Forbes Staff member, he has been around a while and I highly doubt he's shilling for anybody.
The biggest problem though with Forbes Bloggers is that they tend to follow the whole SEO optimized traffic. I noticed that once Forbes got the attention from the ME3 ending, they kept hammering at it, and the coverage wasn't very objective. Recently, the Games subfolder got filled with Pokemon Go articles--countless numbers. It makes me think at times they are watching the traffic and just posting the meme that is popular to talk about. At times I think some of them post an article just to be contrarian, such as Erik saying he wasn't going to post articles about Pokemon Go.
The games coverage has been dwindling a bit, sometimes going to that darn URL just bring up the articles from other subject that those authors write. They don't normally talk about tabletop RPGs at all there.
Well JRT, you've been bursting uninvited into conversations about Gygax for at least 4 years. Dare I say, it almost seems like you have Google alert you whenever the words Gail and Gygax are mentioned anywhere by anyone. And yet, one thing you never seem to talk about is what it means to actually play a roleplaying game. I guess you just keep hammering away because you like to be a contrarian, right?

No, I chime in whenever I see something I want to comment on, which in this particular case, I have knowledge of, having read many of Kain's articles for the past years or so.
He does have a large following for that section of the Forbes site--so while this is not representative of Forbes itself, it's probably going to bring some attention to all the games.

As of a few moments ago, CrowdOx begun sending out surveys for Kickstarter backers only. In the survey, you can confirm your pledge, have the opportunity to upgrade, handle add-ons, reconcile shipping charges, choose the cover for hardback books and download digital content. This means the Early Access PDF, along with the adventure "A Bitter Harvest" and a few special surprises are available to download right now! The GM screen is not quite ready, but you should have everything you need to create characters and run adventures using ZWEIHÄNDER Grim & Perilous RPG (//grimandperilous.com).
Remember, this is the Early Access release. The game is fully playable, and we will do our best to answer any questions you may have about ZWEIHÄNDER and its mechanics both here and on our forums over at GrimAndPerilous.com. We've set up sticky topics on our forum, broken down by chapter. Please post any issues you may see or questions about the chapter within the topic. Feel free to pose more generic questions in our general forum. Our play test lead Adam Rose, co-author Tanner Yea and I will do our best to get to your questions in a timely manner.
