SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Exile Game Studio is looking for GM's to run games at Gen Con Indy. We need volunteers for 2-hour demos and 4-hour games.

Here's what you get:

4 hours = PDF copy of HEX or Secrets of the Surface World
8 hours = Player’s Kit
12 hours = GM Screen or T-Shirt
16 hours = Secrets of the Surface World hardcover book and a vendor badge

The rewards are cumulative, so a GM who runs 16 hours of games will get a parcel o' stuff that retails for $150!

The fine print:

The four-hour games will run every day from 8am-12pm, 10am-2pm, 12pm-4pm, and 2pm-6pm; the two-hour demos will run every day at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. We already have 8 4-hour games spoken for, so, er...act fast!

GM's running a 4-hour adventure will be asked to write their own module, provide us with a 50-90 word description for event submission by April 5, and send the entire adventure over for our perusal prior to Gen Con.

There will be a scenario provided for the 2-hour adventures, though you may run one of your own if you can get us the 50-90 word description by Thursday, April 5. As with the 4-hour game, we will need to see the full adventure prior to Gen Con.

Dressing in Pulpy costume is encouraged, but not required. What is required, however, is attiring oneself in a tasteful, clean and non-offensive manner while representing EGS.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, have a great time, and go home with Hollow Earth goodies!

Please contact Melissa at gencon@exilegames.com to reserve your time slot(s) or to ask questions.

We're still looking for people to help us run games at Gen Con Indy.

Time's running out, so anyone that signs up to run games in the next three days will get credited twice the hours they put in. That's right, volunteering to run 8 hours of games will get you the 16 hour reward! We'll double the rewards (or work a special deal) with anyone that ends up with more than 16 credited hours.

This deal goes for anyone that has already signed up, so don't worry about that. If you're interested, please send e-mail to: gencon@exilegames.com
