This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

CARTOON ACTION HOUR: SEASON 2 CREATE-A-SERIES CONTEST
November 16, 2008; Parsons, KS.

Spectrum Games is launching a contest for fans of Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2. Contestants will be required to create a brand new series for the game. The winning entry will be published in the first CAH:S2 sourcebook, After These Messages. Furthermore, the winner will receive a  copy of After These Messages and the deluxe version of the CAH:S2 rulebook (hardback, full-color).

Below, you'll find the rules for the contest:

• Each contestant may enter no more than two series.
• Entries must be presented as a Txt or Word file and sent via email to SpectrumGamesContest@gmail.com. Questions about the contest should be sent to cynthia.spectrumgames@gmail.com.
• Entries should be between 5,000 and 10,000 words.
• The deadline is January 30th, 2009. The winner will be announced on February 4th.    
• All series must follow the format used for the series in Appendix One of the CAH:S2 rulebook. However, the format can be altered slightly to accommodate the series if necessary. Stat blocks for characters must follow the given format as well.
• All submitted series remain property of their creator, with the exception of the winning entry, which will become property of Spectrum Games.
• Spectrum Games retains the right to edit the winning entry as they see fit, but will discuss major alterations with the creator first.
