This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What's your Body Mass Index, gamer?

Or if you've got a blocky build, that mesomorphic body type kills you. I won't deny having a potbelly, but I'm more overweight than obese at 34.8.

At least this is slightly better than the measurements done in the Navy, where they took your height, neck size, and waist size and then compared all that to a chart. I was fit, but couldn't ever get off of remedial PT because of my build.

I keep up a strenuous Ecky Thump training regimen. It helps to keep me as muscular as a stoat!:haw:

So atheists have been abused, treated badly by clergy or they\'re stupid.They\'re just being trendy because they can\'t understand The God Delusion because they don\'t have the education, plus they\'re just pretending to be atheists anyway. Pundit you\'re the one with a problem, terminal stupidity.

Yeah, that's part of my problem. I have a 48 inch chest, 36 waist, big shoulders, big arms and big legs. Even when i was in good shape I was build like a brick.

Trevelyan

I got a BMI of 28 but I'm not sure that I'd say I was overweight. I go to the gym regularly (2-3 times a week), have a 32" to 34" waist and a 44" chest. I used to be a little overweight but when I joined the gym I actually put on weight overall in spite of loosing love handles.

Are there any better measures?

arminius

Might look at this site for some alternate measures. Or you could use a calipers to find your fat percentage. One site has an alternate BMI calculation but it relies on the user to decide if they're "athletic" or not, which I think makes it pretty useless.

I think there's a very important fact embedded in this data when compared with the national average.  Gamers are reflexive liars.

That's me. I lift weights. My BMI of 34.4 is misleading, labelling me as "obese". But I have only a moderate amount of fat. Most of me is muscle. I don't know what my bodyfat percentage is, not that it matters. I look good. :D

I've gone up to 20.5. I was an 18.7, but 3 kids plays havoc with the figure :(

Like I said, I've had 3 kids....and I was 116 when I found out I was carrying my first child.

According to that site, 21.56. I'm 5'10" stuck at 150lbs and athletic.
