This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Tomita was one of my first crushes. She has a real x-factor to her looks. She lost it a bit as she got older but she's still basically very good looking.

I have the Japanese ed of Playboy with her in it (non-nude) and got her CD a couple of years ago, didn't know what I was missing. It's good music. Well produced, good writing and she sings well.

At the same time Alyssa Milano was also putting out CDs in Japan, but they sssssuck..I have them all.

By the way Milano was another crush when she was on Who's the Boss. Shame she turned into a woke lesbian. When she cut her hair she started to look very ugly, inside and out.

QuoteOn Alicia Hannah-Kim, this is totally subjective and I wouldn't tell anyone who they should or shouldn't find attractive. But I thought she was both tough and pretty. For most of the show she has her hair pulled up and I think her attractiveness is more obvious after she and Chozen hook up and her hair is down (she is also acting very different in that scene, being a bit more vulnerable, whereas in rest of the show she is more focused on discipline and being an instructor).

yeah except they keep harping on how "hot" she's supposed to be and she has like young dudes hitting on her

Do you mean in the show? I don't remember them commenting on that at all in the show (I could be misremembering)

Yeah, in the last ep I watched. The kids go out to a club and she and Chozen are trying to track them down.

If you don't mind reading spoilers I can share what happened and why I think its at least worthwhile for an end to the series.

Spoiler
The arrogant korean student gets killed in an accident at the world tournament, the tournament gets cancelled, then the last 6 episode part is the drama about whether to continue the tournament or not.  John Kreese decides he's done with karate and decides to leave, he repents to Johnny.  The korean dojo decides not to go back to the tournament, Kreese leaves Johnny in charge of Kobra Kai and he has Torry and Miguel in the finals of the tournament. Miagi-Do loses the tourney, Torry and Miguel both win against the Iron Dragon dojo, but the points end up as a tie,  so the Sensei's of the Dojo's have to fight to determine the ultimate winner.  Johnny faces off against the leader of the iron dragon dojo and ends up winning in a scene that is very similar to the first karate kid movie.
I think its a very good redemption for Johnny Lawrence.  Before this all happens in the tournament, Johnny marries his girlfriend, she gives birth to their daughter, and one thing John Kreese ends up redeeming himself by exploding himself and John Silver on Silver's Yacht so he's not able to mess with people any more.

Oh man, this actually sounded pretty cool in a B-movie way. I slogged through the last 2 eps I had on DL that was "complete"..but no yacht explosion..I looked it up and there are SIX more episodes. FUCK THAT - I'm OUT. There is NO WAY I can get through six more episodes of this absolute shit.

The whole time in Ep 10 I'm like:

WHY is Cobra Kai Korean now?
WHY am I watching a breakdancing dance off?
WHY is the Russian team all evil? (do the writers get their orders from NATO and MSM?)
WHY the fuck is this shit so Euro? This is a PacRim show
WHY do I want ALL the characters, including Daniel San to die? (could be just me in later life?)

Anyway, fuck this stupid bullshit show.

Yeah, most of the season is kinda like that, you can skip to the last episode though if you want, just imagine none of the rest of season 6 happens.

I haven't seen the original movie in a bit but I think Cobra Kai did Tang Soo Do, which is basically Korean Karate (pretty sure this was mentioned by Terry Silver in part 3 as well, and he also mentioned they had a master in korea)
